New EAP Resource: Virtual Peer Support Groups

The Mass General Brigham Employee Assistance Program offers virtual staff support groups focused on mental health and wellness topics. Meet colleagues who share similar experiences and join moderated chatroom discussions. Three weekly support groups are held exclusively for Mass General Brigham nurses – nursing group topics change weekly.

Affinity & Community Spaces

Affinity & Community Spaces are a series of open conversations where Harvard community members can connect with others who share their identities, life experiences, or desire to learn, reflect, and connect with others. Events center around a theme for each gathering.

All Harvard affiliates are welcome and should use their Harvard email address to register. Only those registered with a Harvard email will be admitted into the event.

Reflection rounds can help offset distress and build resiliency for individuals and the group. This guide shares MGH’s approach to reflection rounds, which are designed to address clinicians’ needs. Using this guide, trained facilitators can lead group reflections sessions.

Frigoletto Daily, Free Sessions for Mindfulness and Resiliency

For all physicians, NPs, and PAs. Starting March 30, 2020 join Beth Frates, MD, for a daily Zoom meeting on well-being when times are changing. The meetings will share advice on how to stay calm in chaos, and how to be healthy while having to work very differently from what you may be used to. Each day features a different focus.
