Coaching is a collaborative process to help us to realize our best selves in our professional and personal lives. The ever-increasing professional demands, associated stress, uncertainty, changes in our job and role can stop us in our tracks, dilute our voice and agency and set us up for burnout. The coaching relationship provides a safe and reflective space to reconnect with our strengths, reaffirm our values and purpose, be more pro-active and intentional about what matters most and craft practical solutions and a roadmap to successfully achieve desired goals and aspirations.
For over 28 years, I have been a frontline MGH physician and medical educator at Harvard Medical School. I currently practice with the Lifestyle Medicine Program, based in the MGH Cancer Center, am a group leader for the PAVING the Path to Wellness program and teach a course through the Center of Faculty Development on crafting the next chapter.
Through my work over the years in women's health, chronic disease management and care redesign, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with many of you. I see firsthand a strong professional community with boundless energy, talent, and commitment waiting to be harnessed. From 2015-2019, I served as one of your physician representatives and advocates on the MGH- MGPO executive committees.
I am married for over 40 years and raised three children. My hobbies include birding, gardening, wetlands conservation, photography, and road trips.
I believe that my background can be particularly helpful for coaching around career enhancement at any stage, leadership development, navigating transitions, creating your next chapter, and enhancing work-life balance. I look forward to working with you to unleash possibilities, support goals and help to reaffirm your voice and agency.
